Refund & Cancellation Policy
Clear rules for ExactPDF Max subscriptions, API credits, and paid document workflows.

Credit Packs
API credit packs are intended for metered processing. Unused credits are generally refundable within 7 days of purchase when no meaningful usage has occurred.
- If credits were not used, contact support with the payment reference and account email.
- If credits were partially used, we review the request case by case and may refund the unused portion.
- If a paid API/job failed due to an ExactPDF system error, credits should be refunded or restored automatically where the ledger can verify the failed job.
Max Subscriptions
You can cancel a Max subscription before the next billing cycle. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund past completed usage.
- Accidental duplicate charges are refunded after verification.
- If a subscription benefit was unavailable because of an ExactPDF outage, we may extend access or issue a refund.
- Processor timelines vary: Razorpay/UPI and Polar/Stripe refunds can take several business days to appear with your bank.
How To Request Help
Send the account email, payment provider, amount, timestamp, and payment/reference ID. Do not send private document contents.
